The University Abroad Programs are perfectly located between the city of Burlington and the beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont. Burlington is a city that enjoys a multitude of cafes, restaurants, and local shops. With two other universities in the area, Burlington has been recognized as the #1 Best College Town by Travel + Leisure's "America's Best College Towns."

Vermont is known nationally as a playground for outdoor sports. Students in the University Abroad Programs will have the opportunity to learn to ski in some of the best resorts in the Eastern US. There are also opportunities for hiking, biking, and kayaking!

Program Levels:
The University Abroad Programs are designed to meet your needs. We will work with you, no matter your English score, to find the level that is best for you.  Our five levels are:
  1. University Abroad Elite
    1. TOEFL 71/IELTS 6.0
    2. Earn 16 credits
  2. University Abroad Premium
    1. TOEFL 61/IELTS 5.5
    2. Earn 14 credits
  3. University Abroad Advanced
    1. TOEFL 52/IELTS 5.5
    2. Non-credit bearing
  4. University Abroad International
    1. No minimum score – recommended TOEFL 40
    2. Non-credit bearing
  5. University Abroad Preparatory
    1. No minimum score – recommended TOEFL 30
    2. Non-credit bearing
Lodging:
All University Abroad students are housed in single dormitory rooms in a shared suite. Each suite has two bathrooms, a shared living area, and a small kitchen area. On each floor there is a full kitchen and a study area. Laundry facilities are located in each dormitory building.
Admission
Admission to the University Abroad Programs is simple and free. You must complete the one-page application form and meet the following requirements:
  1.  High school completion or equivalency
  2. A 75 average from high school with no failing courses
  3. A valid passport
  4. Qualifying English test score (for Elite, Premium, and Advanced levels)
